Business Focus Statement
  • This individual will serve as an expert in turning first party data into actionable insights to optimize and personalize digital marketing campaigns that drive better results and additional partnership and revenue
 
Operational Accountabilities
 
The Activation Director is responsible for ensuring our clients realize the maximum value from their first-party data, data infrastructure and marketing technology investments, and Leverage Lab products and services. They oversee execution, optimization, and visualization of campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, DV360, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Marketing Automation Platforms (HubSpot, Omeda, Marketo). Collaborating closely with partners, they develop tailored strategies to boost customer lifetime value for users, advertisers, and media organizations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Lead overall partnership with assigned accounts, which includes guiding on-boarding, increasing adoption and utilization of first party data through sales and marketing enablement, and delivering actionable insights through visualizations.
    • This individual will work closely with our partners to understand their business goals, develop tailored digital marketing strategies, and deliver exceptional results that increase customer lifetime value of users, advertisers and media organizations.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and strategic discussions, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues.
    • Will work closely with client stakeholders in sales, client services, marketing, data, and audience development to build and activate high value audience targeting segments, educate on activation capabilities and monetization opportunities, and provide analysis and insights from campaign and audience data
    • Manage renewals and upsell opportunities; support sales and client partners
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
    • Ensure and continuously improve our campaign and advertiser data visualization & process to convey actionable insights and analysis
    • Maintain customer success metrics and share the value of our products and services to our clients
    • Monitor client health and engagement levels, proactively identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for intervention.
  • Leadership & Management
    • Manage a team of activation specialists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team’s success in delivering client value.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture focused on delivering exceptional service and value to clients.
    • Work closely with other teams such as sales, product development, implementation and other client partners to ensure a coordinated approach to client success.
 
Education
Higher education – diploma in marketing, data analytics or similar field.
 
Required Experience:
 
  • A minimum of 5 years experience performance media and marketing, audience development
  • Expertise with social and programmatic advertising set-up, optimization and strategy on platforms including Google Ads, DV360, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Demonstrated track record of client relationship development and service  
  • Proven experience coordinating work cross-functionally within an organization 
  • Media and/or Ecommerce industry experience a plus
  • Prior experience working with customer data platforms a plus
